PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out oblique cutting by a food slicer for perpendicular cutting. SOLUTION: In the food slicer, a feeder 5 is provided so as to reciprocate between a forward movement end facing a round cutter 3 and a backward movement end not facing it, a lower feeding device and an upper feeding device 15 are provided on the feeder 5, food set on the feeder 5 is fed along a direction perpendicular to a cutting face of the round cutter 3 every time the feeder 5 returns to the backward movement end, and a food tip protruding from a feeder tip is cut by the rotating round cutter 3 every time the feeder 5 reaches the forward movement end. In the obliquely cutting device, a forwardly descending slanted feeding base 31 is removably attached to the feeder 5 at the lower side position of an upper feeding device 15, food set between the slanted feeding base 31 and the upper feeding device 15 is fed in a slanted direction forwardly descending from the direction perpendicular to the cutting face of the round cutter 3, and a food tip protruding in a forwardly descending direction from the feeder tip is cut by the rotating round cutter 3.
