PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the moving and the discharging of dried articles in a dryer equipped with a preliminary and main dryers. SOLUTION: An intermediate door 8 is closed between the main dryer 1 and the preliminary dryer 2, and a take-out door 7 is opened. Under this state, tilting mechanism 11 and 12 tilt the dryers in such a manner that the main dryer 1 may be located to be lower than the preliminary dryer 2, and an internal drum is rotated. Thus, dried articles in the main dryer 1 can be taken out to an external recovery box 13. In addition, after taking out the dried articles in the main dryer 1, the takeout door 7 of the main dryer 1 closed, and the intermediate door 8 is opened, and the internal drum of the preliminary dryer 2 is rotated. Thus, dried articles in the preliminary dryer 2 are moved into the main dryer 1, and the taking out and the moving of dried articles are continuously and automatically performed.
