PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner wherein a paper pack can be easily removed. SOLUTION: An electric blower and a dust collecting chamber 3 are formed in a vacuum cleaner body 1. Then, from a front wall 12 with which a fixing plate 10 for the paper pack 4 is confronted, a bottom wall 25 is extended from the lower section of the front wall 12 to an area under the paper pack 4. The front wall 12 is detachably formed in the dust-collecting chamber 3. At the same time, on the front wall 12, a handle 16 and a clamp 17 which fastens the fixing plate 10 for the paper pack 4 are provided for this vacuum cleaner.
