PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a shaped food to be used at home, which is used in the case of preparing a hand-shaped food such as a rice ball, a hand- rolled sushi, a hamburger steak, a croquette, a meatball, etc. SOLUTION: A brim is formed at an upper side at the periphery of the mouth part of a lower container. This brim is formed for the purpose of securing a capacity for housing an amount for a desired hand-rolled food without overflowing. A proper amount of cooked rice is put into the lower container, and it is covered with an upper container 1 and shaken up/down and to the right/ left. The cooked rice inside hits the wall surface of the container to be formed and a rice ball in a shape similar to the container is made. Since the container is made of transparent material, the finish of the shape of the rice-ball can be confirmed and the condition of rolling can be adjusted by the degree of shaking. Though the upper container bites into the brim 3 of the lower container, it can be pulled up by holding a knob 4, thereby the rice-ball can easily be taken out.
