PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air generator capable of generating hot air wind at an optional position by a user. SOLUTION: The hot air generator (1) is provided with a protection structure body (2) to be fixed to a wall (4) and a generation unit (9) to be set for generating a continuous air flow. Since the unit (9) is engaged with the body (2) through ball joints (12, 13), the unit (9) can be moved between an only suspending position and a huge number of operating positions. When the unit (9) reaches one of the operating positions for starting the unit, an electric switch which can be switched into a closed state cooperates with the joints (12, 13).
