PURPOSE: A slip device for a universal joint is provided to simplify the structure of inner and outer tubes which transmit rotation force and move axially, and compensate a radial clearance between the inner and outer tube by an elastic element. CONSTITUTION: A slip device for a universal joint includes a hollow outer tube(30) having a polygonal section and formed with a through hole(31) at a surface, an inner tube(40) having a polygonal section to be closely inserted into outer tube and formed with a slit hole(41) on a surface to be communicated with the through hole continuously when the inner tube moves in a sliding section, a bolt(50) inserted int the slit hole and the through hole and having a head contacting an outer surface of the outer tube, a fixing plate(60) fixed to an end of the bolt, and a plate spring(70) mounted between the fixing plate and the inner tube for elastically supporting the inner tube against the outer tube.
