PURPOSE: A structure of mounting a pickup motor of a disk drive is provided to use the guide and elasticity of ribs integrally formed in a pickup base, and to mount a cover on the pickup base using an inserting protuberance and an inserting groove. Accordingly the pickup motor and cover are mounted on one-touch system. CONSTITUTION: A pickup motor(30) supplies power for driving an optical pickup. A pickup base(20) guides a position of mounting the pickup motor(30), and integrally has ribs(21,22,22',23) elastically fixing the pickup motor(30). A cover(50) covers parts of the pickup base(20) including the pickup motor(30) by being inserted in the pickup base(20) for coupling. The front and side guide ribs(21,22,22') guide a front part and both sides parts of the pickup motor(30). The elastic fixing rib(23) elastically fixes the pickup motor(30) by being hooked on a protuberance(32) in a rear end of the pickup motor(30). An inserting groove(51) and an inserting protuberance(25) are formed respectively on positions facing to the pickup base(20) and the cover(50).
