PURPOSE: A disposal system of food garbage in a unit residential district is provided which dehydrates and ferments the collected food garbage by automatically collecting food garbage discharged from each households of the unit residential district such as an apartment through a drainpipe. CONSTITUTION: The disposal system of food garbage in a unit residential district is characterized in that food garbage are automatically collected into a storage tank(6) through the collection pipe line(4) by connecting kitchen drainpipes extended from each households(2) of a unit residential district to an independent collection pipeline(4), the food garbage collected into the storage tank(6) are periodically dehydrated and fermented, and wastewater derived from dehydration of the food garbage is sent to a common sewage disposal tank through a conduit(16) for the decomposition treatment, wherein a ventilation means(8) is installed at the upper part of the storage tank(6) so as to exhaust odor generated during decomposition of the food garbage to the outside, an air pressure is acted to the inside of the collection pipe line(4) through the ventilation means(8), the food garbage collected in the storage tank(6) are sent to a dehydrator(10) which is arranged adjacently to the storage tank(6) so that the food garbage are disposed into solid by dehydration, and the dehydrated solid can be either loaded on a transportation means(12) and transported to a separate fermentation facility or directly fermented inside the dehydrator(10). |
