PURPOSE: A device for removing slag is provided which simply removes slag adhered onto a ladle within a short period of time so that the slag is not scattered but collected to one place to be removed. CONSTITUTION: The device for removing slag adhered onto a ladle comprises a ladle resting deck(1) consisting of a ladle support(2) on the upper surface of which a ladle is rested and a support part(3) supporting the ladle support(2) and the outer surface of the ladle; a removing blade operation frame(4) which is installed at the front of the ladle resting deck(1) so that the removing blade operation frame(4) is positioned at the upper part of the ladle rested on the ladle support(2), and on the upper surface of which removing blade moving grooves(5) are formed from edges of both sides to the inside; removing blades(8) which are installed inside the removing blade operation frame(4), which are projected to the upper part of the removing blade operation frame(4) through the removing blade moving grooves(5), and a pair of which are formed in a semi-arc shape so as to encircle the upper part of the ladle rested on the ladle resting deck(1); a removing blade operation gear which is installed on the lower surface of the pair of the removing blades(8) and consisted of a pair of racks having different elevations and a pinion which is in gear with the racks, wherein one rack is installed at the lower surface of one removing blade(8) while other rack is installed at the lower surface of the other removing blade(8); a rotation shaft(16) which is installed at the lower part of the ladle support(2), one end of which connected to the pinion of the removing blade operation gear, and the other end of which is connected to a wheel; a chain one end of which is fixed to the wheel, and the other end of which fixed to the ladle resting deck(1); and a wheel operation plate which is axially connected to the ladle support(2), and which rotates the wheel by pressing the wheel when the wheel operation plate is rotated by a dead load of the ladle rested on the ladle support(2).
