An improved fluid control valve is provided. The valve includes a seal which is captured between an upstream flange adapter and a valve member, so that the seal prevents fluid from leaking around the valve member. The seal is carried by a holder ring, and stopmembers are attached to the flange adapter for limiting upstream travel of the holder ring at specific points, thereby to restrict tilting of the seal as the valve member rotates. |
