PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device and a manufacturing method thereof and method for driving the organic electroluminescence device are provided to improve the performance of a display by changing a current applied to the organic electroluminescence device. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(20) is formed on a surface of a transparent substrate(10). An insulating film(30) is formed on an upper surface of the first electrode(20). First, second, and third openings are formed on an upper surface of the insulating film(30) so as to have an opening area being in inverse proportion to the lifetime of first, second, and third organic luminescence units. The first, second, and third organic luminescence units are sequentially formed on the first, second, and third openings. An second electrode(160) is formed on an upper surface of each of the first, second, and third organic luminescence units.
