PURPOSE: A water discharging device for a fuel tank is provided to blocking the water introduction with respect to an engine for increasing the engine output and prevent the corrosion of a fuel tank by not passing water to a fuel pump. CONSTITUTION: A water discharging device for a fuel tank includes a water collecting part(2) indented on a bottom surface of a fuel tank(1), a discharge tube(3) formed at a lower part of the water collecting part to be communicated to the outside, a solenoid valve(4) to be driven by an input control signal to open or close the discharge tube, water sensing electrodes(7) mounted on the water collecting part for sensing water by a difference of resistance values between water and the fuel, and a control part(8) for discharging the water by opening the solenoid valve when the water is sensed by the water sensing electrodes.
