MESOPOROUS MACROCELLULAR ZEOLITE AND ZEOTYPE MATERIAL MOLECULAR SIEVE AND PREPARATION THEREOF BY USING POLYMERIC TEMPLATE HAVING SPONGE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: The present invention relates to preparation methods of mesoporous macrocellular zeolites and zeotype materials molecular sieves by using polymeric templates having sponge structure. As zeolites and zeotype materials molecular sieves of the present invention possesses uniform cross-linked open framework with a cell diameter ranging from hundreds of nanometers to hundreds of micrometers, there are no applicational limits that come from pressure lose due to microcellular framework of conventional molecular sieves. The zeolites and zeotype materials molecular sieves of the present invention have widespread household and industrial applications as catalysts, ion exchangers, dehydrators, and most importantly, adsorbents for exhaust gas of automobiles. CONSTITUTION: The mesoporous macrocellular zeolite or zeotype material molecular sieve foam is prepared by immersing a high molecular template containing amine in an alkali gel or an acid gel of zeolite or precursor for zeotype molecular sieve for the purpose of substituting zeolite or zeotype material for polymeric template. The polymeric template containing amine is selected from (i) polyurethane-based polymer produced from divalent or higher polyol and isocyanate; (ii) polyamide-based polymer such as nylon, protein, and silk; (iii) aliphatic or aromatic polyimide produced by polycondensation of diamine and dianhydride; (iv) polyimide-based polymer; (v) epoxy resin-based polymer containing amines such as urea, melanin, and guanamine as framework; and (vi) polymers producing organic amines by hydrolysis.
