PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire applying PEN to carcass play is provided to improve the high speed driving stability and the high durability of the pneumatic tire, thereby preventing the safety accidents of vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire, in which PEN(polyethylene naphthalene-2,6-dicarboxylate) cords having a high thermal stability and structural stability in comparison with PET(polyethylene terephthalate) cords, are applied for a carcass ply.
