PURPOSE: A method of directly transmitting a map between cellular phones is provided to make a user directly draw a self map to make or correct the map on a self cellular phone or a PC, to store the map in a memory of the cellular phone, then to directly transmit the map to another user through a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) server or an SMS(Short Message Service), so as to exactly transmit a self location to the other party. CONSTITUTION: Map data made by an 'A' user(100) is stored in a cellular phone of the 'A' user(a). The 'A' user(100) selects a demanded map of the map data, and inputs a telephone number of a cellular phone to receive the map, to transmit the map to the number, then automatically connects to a WAP server to upload the map to the WAP server(b). The WAP server requests a URL address of the map data to be transmitted to a cellular phone of a 'B' user(101) by an SMS(c). An SMS server transmits the URL address to the cellular phone of the 'B' user(101)(d). The 'B' user(101) connects to the WAP server where a map image is located, through a wireless data communication network by pressing a specific button of the cellular phone, and requests a map transmission for the URL address(e). The WAP server transmits the map data uploaded by the 'A' user(100) to the cellular phone of the 'B' user(101)(f). The map data is displayed as an image with text. |
