PURPOSE: A rear room mirror is provided to prevent dazzling of strong reflection light of headlight of backside automobile by adjusting lightness of the reflection light. CONSTITUTION: A rear room mirror of an automobile comprises a reflection mirror(6), a housing portion(3) having the rear mirror, a support portion connected to an upper end of the housing portion supporting the housing portion, and a connecting portion connected to an upper end of the support portion fixed to an indoor roof. A fixing polarizing plate(4) and a rotation polarizing plate(5a,5b) are installed in the housing portion. A knob(7) and a plurality of gears(8a,8b,8c) are installed to adjust rotation of the rotation polarizing plate.
