PURPOSE: Software for a disk device driver is provided to prevent the leakage of important data when a computer is used by many users and to reduce the booting time by preventing the time delay due to the recognition of respective drivers when media are inserted into drivers. CONSTITUTION: A program is prepared to output a message informing of the existence of media in drivers when a computer is finished while such media as a floppy disk, a compact disk and a digital versatile disk are inserted into drivers. The program is prepared as a BIOS(Basic Input/Output System) program of a main frame or a device driver program of respective disk drivers.
