PURPOSE: A method of transmitting a wire/wireless instant message using an SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to analyze a short message transmitted to a receiving party from an instant message server, and to confirm whether the receiving party registers an IP corresponding to an analyzed telephone number or to confirm the telephone number, then to transmit the short message as well as recording billing information of a caller, so as to transmit the message by using an existing SMS without wireless Internet access. CONSTITUTION: If a mode is a user registration mode of an instant messenger(S101), a mobile communication terminal or a computer inputs a self telephone number as an ID(S102), to transmit the telephone number to an instant message server. The instant message server confirms whether the telephone number is an overlapped telephone number(S103). If not, the instant message server transmits an authentication number to the telephone number by using an SMS(S104). If a mobile communication terminal subscriber receives the authentication number(S105), the subscriber inputs the authentication number with the telephone number to log in for the first time, and additionally inputs user information(S106) to transmit the user information to the instant message server. The instant message server stores the user information in a service subscriber database(S107). |
