PURPOSE: A rapid detection method of genetically modified organism(GMO) is provided, thereby rapidly and cost effectively detecting the genetically modified organism(GMO). CONSTITUTION: The rapid detection method of genetically modified organism(GMO) is characterized by using Shikimic acid metabolism inhibition wherein aromatic amino acids produced from Shikimic acid metabolism are used as precursors of radical scavengers. Therefore, it is possible to detect GMO rapidly and cost effectively by analyzing a variation of radical production.
