The invention concerns a management system for use in vehicles following a route marked with charging terminals (7). It comprises, in the vehicle (V) computing means (4) for determining, while travelling between an upstream terminal and a downstream terminal, the amount of power required by the vehicle (V) to travel along said route section leading from a terminal to the next terminal, and for generating a signal (quf) representing the amount of power required to satisfy those requirements. Means for locating (6) the vehicle co-operate with storage means (5) wherein is kept a map representing the topographical characteristics of the route, and computing means (4, 17) determine the power requirements (bse) on the basis of the topographical characteristics of the section. Each terminal (7) comprises means (13) for sending, in response to said representative signal (quf), the corresponding load power to the rechargeable source (1) in said vehicle (V). |
