Batch (5) is conveyed by a first conveyor (1) towards a second conveyor (2) aligned on the same level and able to move in the same direction. A sheet (6) extends smoothly between the two conveyors following their movement in such a way that the batch of the superimposed packages (3) is dragged towards the first conveyor, then onto the second conveyor. The upper and lower part of the sheet and is then brought into contact with rear part of the packages until they are covered with the lower or upper part of the sheet. An Independent claim is also included for the batch of identical parallelepiped packages.
