LITHIUM POLYMER SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium polymer secondary battery using a polymer electrolyte for reducing the influence of the expansion/contraction of positive and negative electrodes following charging/discharging on the battery performance. SOLUTION: The lithium polymer secondary battery comprises a negative electrode having an active material layer of a carbon material capable of electrochemically inserting/eliminating lithium, a positive electrode having an active material layer of a chalcogenide compound containing lithium, and a polymer electrolyte layer provided between the negative electrode and the positive electrode. The polymer electrolyte layer consists of a negative electrode side layer and a positive electrode side layer integrally formed with the respective electrodes, in which respective polymer electrolytes different in viscoelastic behavior are used.
