PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the buckling of a coil-shaped slender shutter spring pressing a shutter member toward the closing position in a magnetic disk cartridge. SOLUTION: In the case that an opening part 19 for inserting the shutter spring 6 inside a spring housing part 23 is formed in the vicinity of the restraining end part at the side of cartridge case of the shutter spring 6, a tightly wound part 6a is formed at least on the restraining end part at the side of cartridge case of the shutter spring 6.
