PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a bare capacitor having excellent thermal adhesive properties and blocking resistance. SOLUTION: In the thermal adhesive polyester film in which a thermal adhesive resin layer is laminated on at least one surface of a base material film composed of a polyester resin, the thermal adhesive resin layer uses an amorphous polyester copolymer resin and spherical inactive grains as main ingredients, a hydrogen bonding-power component term γsh in the surface free- energy of a thermal adhesive resin layer surface is 5-15 mN/m, and a hydrogen dispersion-force component term γsd is 30-45 mN/m. The inactive grains are compounded with the amorphous polyester copolymer resin of 100 pt.wt. in 1-15 pt.wt.
