PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit, that can relieve the load on a user, when selecting a frame image from among a frame image group configuring a moving images. SOLUTION: Static images and moving images read from a recording medium are displayed as a list (S132), one moving image selected from the image groups is displayed as a moving image (S135), and when a user operates a stop button to stop the moving image display (S136), a frame number of a frame image, set apart by a prescribed time interval centering a frame image which has been displayed at its stop operation, is obtained (S137), and the center frame image having been displayed at the stop operation and the obtained frame image group are displayed as a list (S138). The user can select a desired image from among the frame image group displayed as a list.
