PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solid high polymer electrolyte, a film thereof, a solution for covering electrode catalyst, a film/electrode junction, and a fuel cell capable of manufacturing carboxylated polychloro-trifluoroethylene electrolyte in two processes using polychloro-trifluoroethylene as a raw material and having the durability equal to that of fluorine electrolyte film represented by perfluorosulfonic acid film and sufficient high durability in practical use. SOLUTION: The solid high polymer electrolyte composed of a fluorine high polymer high molecular compound containing at least a carboxyfluoroethylene structural unit expressed by a specific chemical formula, the high polymer electrolyte film thereof, the film/electrode junction, the fuel cell using the high polymer electrolyte film or the film/electrode junction, and a power supply device for household installation and an electric vehicle using a fuel cell are provided. |
