PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device, an electroptical unit, and an electronic device to secure a sufficient light volume for a color display or the like by introducing and utilizing sufficient volume of light from outside without damaging a design. SOLUTION: For an electrooptical unit 100 mounted on a portable telephone, at a back surface side of a liquid crystal panel 400, in addition to the light emitted from a light source 14, the light got into a surface cover 13 from front side 132 and traveled through the liquid crystal panel 400 gets in through a light guide plate 11 as the light from outside as well, the volume of the light of incidence getting in the liquid crystal panel 400 big. |
