PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales inquiry method and the device therefor which is suited to game machines and which does not impose financial burdens so much even when new machines are introduced one after another. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a storage medium for storing the sales amount of a sales member and the lending amount of a lending member for the respective game machines constituted by combining the sales member and the lending member; and an arithmetic means for retrieving the storage medium corresponding to the machine type and number of the game machines specified by an input means and calculating the sales amount and the lending amount.
