摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state electrolytic capacitor which can be prevented from expanding and degradating in characteristics at the time of flow soldering and therefore is suitable for surface mounting, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A bipolar electrode foil connected by an electrode extraction means having an external connection is wound through a separator to form a capacitor element. After the capacitor element is subject to recovery chemical conversion treatment, a specified acid is attached to the separator by injection, dipping, or the like. A quantity of the acid to be attached to the separator is 0.01 to 0.2 mg per 1 mm3 of the separator, preferably 0.02 to 0.05 mg. Alternatively, the capacitor element is dipped in a solution containing 1-10 wt.% of acid for at least 10 seconds at room temperature, and then is heat-treated at 150-200 deg.C for 60-180 minutes. Next, the capacitor element is impregnated with a specified monomer or a monomer solution, then with a specified oxidant, and then is heated to 20-180 deg.C at least for 30 minutes to form a conductive high molecular layer. Thereafter, the capacitor element is inserted into an aluminum case of a cylindrical shape having a bottom and the opening is sealed by drawing with rubber.
