PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail system by which attached files whose desired are only selected from a plurality of attached files contained in a received mail and a mail containing the selected attached files is transmitted to a destination attaching by a mail terminal device. SOLUTION: A mail gateway device 110 is composed of an ID list storing section 111 which stores a list of generated IDs, a mail acquiring section 112 which acquires attached files corresponding to the IDs, a mail establishing section 113 which establishes a mail to be transmitted from the attached file received from the mail acquiring section 112, a mail receiving section 114 and a mail transmitting section 115. The mail gateway device 110 generates an ID for each of the attached files contained in a mail maintained by a mail server device 120 and notifies a mail terminal device 100 of the list of generated IDs.
