PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splash-proof enclosure for retaining a splash-proof function even if an end at the side of the side to be fitted of an enclosure that is divided into two portions back and forth is warped. SOLUTION: A front enclosure 1 and a rear enclosure 2 that are divided back and forth, are mounted so that they can be opened or closed with a lower end section as an axis, recessed grooves 11 and 21 for inserting and fitting a packing that oppose each other are cut on the contacting surface between the front enclosure 1 and the rear enclosure 2, one end where a step section 12 is cut at the outer-periphery wall of the recessed groove 11 and an inner- periphery wall 13 is inclined is fitted to the other end where a step section 22 is cut on an outer-periphery wall, and an inner-periphery wall 23 is chamfered.
