PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for confirming health of residents capable of easily realizing the precise health confirmation of a residence at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this method for confirming the health of residents, the living information of the residents are detected to determine the health state of the resident, whereby abnormalities can be discovered. A clamp-type current sensor is mounted on a power source line passing the power source breakers of a plurality of power systems, in a dwelling house for measure the current value of each power source system, and is compared with a preliminarily measured general current using pattern of the resident to determine the health state of the resident.
