<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method wherein, when an error rate is measured, a multiplexed signal in a multichannel transmission system can be evaluated simultaneously. SOLUTION: Respective pseudo-random number bit sequence generators 3a to 3c inside an error-rate measuring apparatus 1 generate transmission data (a) to (c) on the basis of clock pulses which are input from a clock generator 2, and they are output to digital modulation parts 4a to 4c connected at the outside. When respective demodulated reception data (a) to (c) are input from a device 6 under test, comparators 8a to 8c compare the respective reception data (a) to (c) with the transmission data (a) to (c) according to a synchronizing signal which is input from a pseudo-random number bit sequence synchronization part 7.</p> |
