VIRUS CHECKING SERVER AND VIRUS CHECKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take countermeasures against a virus of an electronic mail without the need of individual facilities. SOLUTION: An electronic mail transmitted from the client terminal 22 of a client network 20 to an electronic mail server 24 is transferred to the virus checking server 12 of a virus checking system 10 from the electronic mail server 24. The virus checking server 12 receives and preserves the electronic mail and transfers the electronic mail which is virus-checked and to which necessary processing is applied for removing the virus to a transmission destination/transmission source electronic mail server 30 being a destination.
