PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk-reproducing device that reproduces a video recorded in an optical disk, when a parental level set by each person is greater than a parental level set to the optical disk and inhibits reproduction of the video recorded in the optical disk, when the parental level set by each person is smaller than the parental level which has been set to the optical disk. SOLUTION: The disk-reproducing device is provided with an entry means that has keys, a storage means that stores a master password, personal IDs, passwords and parental levels, a parental level-setting means that can revise setting of the personal IDs and the parental levels stored in the storage means, and a control means, that compares the personal parental level stored in the storage means with the parental level set to the optical disk and controls the reproduction of the video recorded in the optical disk, on the basis of the result of comparison. |
