PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animation reproducing unit capable of modifying and reproducing an animation so as to coordinate movement of plural characters. SOLUTION: An optional movement tag included in an animation description script relative to a second character is described so as to be synchronized with an optional movement tag included in the animation description script relative to a first character, and the respective tags are memorized in a first script memory means 103 and in a second script memory means 104. A script interpreting means 106 is characterized by executing interpretation of the movement tag included in the animation description script of the first character by referring to a script interpretation table memorized in an interpretation table memory means 105 based on combination with the synchronized movement tag included in the animation description script of the second character.
