PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an insurance system in which the life custom of a contractor after the contract can be reflected. SOLUTION: An insurance contract changing system 1 is constituted of a base station 1, a portable telephone terminal 4 and a managing server 5 which are mutually connected via a public telephone line network 2 and a network 3 and a database 6 which is connected to the managing server 5 via the network 3. The database 6 stores a contractor file for each contractor making a contract with an insurance company. The portable telephone terminal 4 incorporates a pedometer and transmits the number of steps taken at each prescribed period to the managing server 5. The managing server 5 receives it, obtains the number of steps taken a day in each month for twelve months as action data of the contractor and re-writes the contents of the contractor file concerning the contract change based on the action data.
