PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional peripheral equipment which can select the mail addresses of a master machine and a slave machine and the mail address of an opposite side device, which are stored in the master machine by the slave machine. SOLUTION: A transmission source mail address and a transmission destination mail address are collectively managed in the address book memory 16a of the master machine 1. When the operator of the slave machine depresses a down load key 11d or a reception requesting key 11e and the command is transmitted to the master machine 1, the mail address stored in the address book memory 16a of the master machine 1 is down-loaded on the slave machine with a control program 14a stored in the ROM 14 of the master machine 1. Thus, the operator can transmit or receive mail data by the self-mail address in the arbitrary slave machine.
