PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet bactericidal device capable of inhibiting a reduction of an ultraviolet ray radiation efficiency at an atmosphere in which a fluid such as a bath water of a relatively low temperature, i.e., 0-30 deg.C is circulated. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet ray bactericidal device is provided with a cold cathode ultraviolet ray lamp 20 having an arc tube 20a in which a mixture gas of neon and argon of which a ratio of the neon gas is 60% or more is filled and which comprises an ultraviolet ray-transmitting material having an inner diameter of 3-5 mm; an ultraviolet ray-transmitting protection tube 41 storing the cold cathode ultraviolet ray lamp in the sealing state; and an irradiation device body 42 in which a fluid of 0-30 deg.C is circulated on an outer surface of the protection tube and which irradiates the fluid with an ultraviolet ray transmitting the protection tube.
