PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lowering of attraction force on a relay having a damping spring part. SOLUTION: A cutout part 151 of a movable iron piece 15 through which an end of the damping spring part 121 passes is arranged at a position slipped out from a portion (portion where magnetic flux density is the highest in the movable iron piece 15) facing against a core part 141 of a fixed iron core 14 on an electromagnetic relay an end of which is projected to the side of the fixed iron core 14 by passing through the movable iron piece 15 and furnished with the damping spring part 121 to absorb collisional energy of the movable iron piece 15 and the fixed iron core 14.
