PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a single phase composition of LiFePO4 carbon complex and achieve an excellent battery property. SOLUTION: When a positive electrode active material is manufactured, a combined material of compounds expressed in formula LixFePO4 (X is more than 0 to 1.) is mixed, processed by milling and baking, and a carbon material is added at any point in the processing. The material combined with LixFePO4 uses Li3PO4 and Fe3(PO4)2 or its hydrate Fe3(PO4)2.nH2O (n is hydration number.) in the combined material after milling, a size distribution of particles with a diameter of 3 μm or more has the accumulated frequency of 22% or less by volume. |
