PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension extending system that extends an extension of a private branch of exchange and provides an extension extending service even in a system not supporting signaling transmission. SOLUTION: The extension extending system extends an extension of a private branch of exchange 1 to be connected to a telephone set 3 and to conduct signaling transmission, mounts voice channel panels 6, 7 that conduct transmission reception processing of voice data and signaling relay channel panels 4, 5 that conduct transmission reception processing of call control data in pairs, and is provided with a channel panel mount section that connects the private branch of exchange 1 or the telephone set 3 to the voice channel panels 6, 7 via the signaling relay channel panels 4, 5 and common sections 8, 9 that assign different channels to the signaling relay channel panels 4, 5 and the voice channel panels 6, 7 to conduct multiplexing/demultiplexing. Signaling between the private branch of exchange 1 and the telephone set 3 is transmitted using one channel.
