PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy input or registration of user information which is necessary, when utilizing a print service without having to provide a new input means. SOLUTION: A method for registering user information comprises a step of previously sending the user information necessary for utilizing the print service on the Internet by the user by means of a postcard, a telephone, a facsimile or the like (SA1). The method further comprises a step of inputting and recording the sent user information to and in a print server at a print site side; and a step of accessing the print site by a digital camera, having a communicating function before the use of the service, the executing an initialization register request by the digital camera (SA2), returning the user information stored in advance from the print server in response to the request (SA3). The user information sent is stored in a memory, and transmits storage completion (SA4). Then initialization registration completion is conducted by the print server accompanying the transmission, and the user information is formally registered as the site. |
