PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can solve the problem raised by the error diffusion method and can control the edge enhancement of an output image. SOLUTION: The image processor performs threshold processing by using the threshold obtained by correcting an input pixel value by means of a threshold processing section 103 and outputs a binary pixel value. Then the processor subtracts the threshold used for the threshold processing from the inverted value of the outputted pixel value and distributes the remainder to the thresholds used for processing surrounding pixels. At this time, an adding section 207 adds an input value to the distributed value (feedback value). At the time of performing threshold processing on the next pixel, a subtracting section 205 subtracts the input value from the distributed value and uses the remainder as the threshold used for binarization. Since these calculation can negate the change of the input value when the input value changes, the edge of the output image can be weakened. |
