PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device by which a user can freely select an image area among a plurality of kinds of image areas that can be separated, and specify the adjustment contents of image characteristic for each of selected image areas. SOLUTION: An area selection screen 200 is displayed on a touch panel. It is provided with area selection keys 201 to 204 which accept the selection of image area by a user among a character area, a photo area, and a background area that can be separated respectively. When a desired area selection key is pressed, a screen for specifying the adjustment contents of concentration or color balance is displayed in every selected image area. As a result, the concentration or color balance is adjusted in every selected image area according to the specified adjustment contents and an image is formed. |
