PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin disk driving device having no adverse effects of magnetic flux leakage of a chucking magnet. SOLUTION: The disk driving device is provided with a rotor part including a rotor hub 8 for fixing a magneto-optical disk 1 having a disk hub 2 by a magnetic attracting force between a chucking magnet 6 and the disk hub 2, a magnetic path yoke 9 attached to the rotor hub 8, a field magnet 10 attached to the magnetic path yoke 9, and a shaft 3 connected to the rotor hub 8, and a stator part including a housing 14 for rotatably supporting the shaft 3, a stator core 11 and a coil attached oppositely to the field magnet 10. In this case, the disk-shaped chucking magnet 6 is attached through the chucking yoke plate 6 made of iron-containing material onto the rotor hub 8.
