PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for magnetic head with a structure that makes lubricant hard to bring together around the projections in order to overcome the problems such that frictional and adsorbable force between the slider and a magnetic disk surface will drastically increase after the restart when the cycle of the stop and restart has been repeated by using a magnetic recording device. SOLUTION: This slider is the slider for magnetic head with a flying surface for flying force generation, a shallow step and a deep step which generates suction force. Where this slider is characterized in that it has one or more projections projected from the flying surface and that the projection has a shape of at least two or more steps of stairs.
