PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin separator, capable of separating charged coins one by one and delivering them in a short time at prescribed internals for all batch chargings of a plurality of coins, charging of only a single coin, and one-by-one charging of coins at intervals. SOLUTION: This coin separator is constituted, such that it is provided with a delivering part for delivering coins one by one and a detection part for detecting a delivering condition of delivered coins, and the delivering part adjusts a delivering speed of coins based on the detected delivering condition. Since the delivering speed of coins is adjusted based on the delivering condition, coins can be delivered one by one in a short time at predetermined intervals.
