PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in resource required in a hardware circuit and a software circuit which are increased by enlarging a graphic pattern, and are exponentially increased by increasing the processing speed. SOLUTION: By using templates Pt1-Pt5 matched with a part of a shape of a logo mark (pattern), operation loads and circuit scale required in each template matching can be reduced. A case in which a part of the shape is not matched with the template means a case in which no matching is made even when all templates are used, and in that sense, any wasteful operation need not be performed, and the operation loads can be reduced. In addition, because the subsequent templates Pt2-Pt5 are used only after the first template Pt1 is found, the template matching can be efficiently performed.
