PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily add a new function to a conventional load control system. SOLUTION: This function adding device of the load control system is furnished with an electric current detection part 1 to detect an electrifying direction to a relay coil r0 from a remote control transformer RT and an exciting current of the relay coil r0, a remote control relay driving part 2 to drive a remote control relay RR by making the exciting current to flow to the relay coil r0, a control part 3 to control the remote control relay driving part 2 so as to make the exciting current to flow to the relay coil r0 in accordance with a detection result of the electric current detection part 1 and a timer part 4 to count time by being triggered by the control part 3. The control part 3 supplies the exciting current to the relay coil r0 by controlling the remote control relay driving part 2 when the timer part 4 works from a point of time when a load L is ON and count time reaches ON time. Consequently, it is possible to realize temporary ON motion that the load L is automatically OFF after the ON time passes after the load L is ON.
